A few days ago, former President Donald Trump made an appearance at the annual conference of the Association of Black Journalists. It was an interview that was supposed to be an opportunity for him to appeal to black audiences. First of all, I find the name of the organization interesting. What if a group called themselves—Association of White Journalists, would they not be labeled KKK? Anyway, that’s besides the point.
The interview began on an angry note. In trying to pander to black voters he kept repeating a statement and doubling down that illegal immigrants were coming to America to take black jobs. What is a black job? Did he convince you to vote for him? Personally, I think he should never have gone for that interview. I gritted my teeth throughout the entire duration of the rumble.
