In a deft move, Kamala picks Tim Walz, a former School teacher, former Sergeant Major, former High School Coach, and current Governor of Minnesota as her running mate. The base is excited. It remains to be seen whether his choice will pull in a new coalition from rural Midwest America to vote Democratic.
Kamala and Walz will be embarking on a tour of Swing States to energize the base over the next few days.
