Two brothers come out of a humble background. They attain fame, get married, and trouble begins. Their fight has been very public and the nastiness does not seem to be going away. When a relationship such as one in music where the work is a work of the heart breaks apart, just like a broken marriage, it’s hard to heal. The P-Square duo may find it hard to continue to keep the same level of fame as solo artists than they had as a pair. Fans are likely always going to love them better together than as individual artists.
Breaking up a band is usually not a pretty thing, but the fact is that people grow apart and that’s life. History is replete with Bands like the Jackson 5, Abba, the Beatles and the Supremes who broke up at the peak of their popularity.
Michael Jackson, I guess, put it best when he referred to the great times he had with his brothers in the Jackson 5, but then, he said, “these are better days,” and he went on to sing Billy Jean.
