Sharon Okpamen, born on February 16, 1989, in Edo State, began her acting career in 2010 with a role in the movie “Touch Not My Crown,” courtesy of veteran actor John ‘Mr Ibu’ Okafor. Over the years, she went on to appear in over a hundred films, cementing her place as a promising talent in the industry.

Her breakthrough came when she started featuring in prominent Nollywood productions, including “The Great Servant,” “Take A Fall,” “Eshikito,” and “Night Hustlers,” a film she produced herself. Sharon’s performances were praised for their depth and authenticity, and she quickly gained a following among young Nigerian audiences.

 Tragic Circumstances

On July 31, 2024, Sharon shared a joyous post on her Instagram page, announcing the arrival of her second child, writing, “To God be the Glory. Osarhuese is here.” However, just days after the delivery, the actress fell into a coma and tragically passed away, leaving her family, friends, and fans in a state of disbelief and sorrow.

The news of her death was made public by actor and director Stanley Ontop, who described it as “unfortunate” and said that Sharon’s passing had “left a significant void in the industry.” Colleagues and fans alike took to social media to express their condolences and pay tribute to the fallen star.
