  • Join new groups/associations. Even your professional alumni, old school/uni are good picks. Also Social media parades some interesting events such as Book clubs, painting, salsa class, health and fitness groups offline or online.
  • Register for coaching. Consider seeking the professional help of relationship coaches to audit your past relationships and learn why they petered out. Take heed of their expert advice and change your ways this time.
  • Attend Faith-based events and programs to meet and make new friends of like minds. Such public events are opportunities for meeting people.
  • Be friendly and approachable. No more aloofness. This is not the time for committee of friends to approve everything you do. Go solo sometimes to art galleries, movie theaters, shopping malls or farmers markets.
  • Learn how to cook and care for people. Enlist the help of professional cooks to teach you how to make different ethnic dishes. Be kind and courteous to elderly people in your space. Visit them and package treats for them. These sets of people are natural matchmakers with endless supply of potential suitors.
