This is where to adopt a concerted method of winding down to avoid burnout. Prioritise daily routines that will reduce unnecessary pressure, anxiety and worry in your day to day living.

Eat right: You must reduce your consumption of processed foods once you are no longer a youth. You shouldn’t be eating fried food washed down with soft drinks. Start to add vegetables and fruits to your meals, also reduce your food portions to avoid obesity and high cholesterol.

Move that body: You must engage in some form of exercise right in your home. Could be walking, gardening, skipping, dancing, stairs climbing. Regular exercise helps to maintain heart health, strengthen bones and lower blood pressure.

Community life: Don’t stay alone and give in to mindless phone scrolling or consumption of endless online chatter. Spend time with real people. Join social groups and societies in your neighborhood, schools or your religious settings. These are great for social inclusion, fun and outdoor activities.
