On Monday, hand held communication devices otherwise known as low tech, otherwise known as Pagers exploded in the hands of enemies of Israel, also known as Hezbollah. Think of Hezbollah as that neighbor in the street who looks out for his friends— in this case, Hamas.
The next day, Walkie Talkies exploded, killing dozens of Hezbollah fighters and injuring many more. By Friday, a very senior Hezbollah official who chose a home where a nursery was situated as shield was blown to smithereens along with the babies in the nursery.
Now, you don’t need to do anything to Hezbollah to incur their wrath. They are armed to the teeth. They live in a one time beautiful country called Lebanon. They don’t care that their hatred for Israel does little to harm Israel, but does much to destroy a once beautiful Lebanon.
The government of Lebanon watched them grow, after the 1982 invasion of Lebanon by Israel. They aided their growth until they were taken over by Iran. They still get all their funding from Iran till date. Now, they are just as big if not bigger than the Lebanese Army. Their only motivation is hatred for Israel.
In 2006, a tit for tat led to a full scale war that practically left Lebanon in ruins. It would appear that Hezbollah has a death wish. No problem. They have an enemy who’s ready to help them get 72 virgins in the hereafter.
The Israeli country probably has the largest standing army in the world. In a country of 9 million people, you can rest assured that they have at least 6 million trained fighters.
On October 7th, 2023, the world woke up to atrocities committed by Hamas against Israel.
What were they thinking?
They must be regretting that action now.
Gaza has been pulverized into Stone Age civilization as over 50,000 people have died with at least half being women and children.
Curiously, even though Hezbollah can see what has happened to Gaza, they also have a death wish. They have vowed to continue to throw missiles into Israel for as long as there’s no ceasefire in Gaza.
They seem to have forgotten that Netanyahu may be Jewish but he has three hearts—- a Hamas heart, a Hezbollah heart, and the heart of a Jew. Go figure!!!!
When one missile lands in Israel, 20 Israeli planes will wing it across Lebanon and drop a few bombs.
Through the years I had sometimes thought that a day would come when the love for the progress of the people of Gaza and Lebanon by Hamas and Hezbollah respectively will be stronger than their hatred for Jews.
Until that day comes, Israel must be ready to fight or die.
