Thank you, Mr. Dangote. You are a patriot, a priceless national hero. As the common saying goes, ‘you have done what Napoleon could not do.’
Beginning today, the entire nation should begin to feel a sense of pride as Dangote Refinery begins to sell petroleum products locally.
This is no ordinary news. What this means can only be imagined on many levels.
Nigeria has become an independent nation through the timeless principle of the pursuit of self-sufficiency.
Not only are we going to be self sufficient, there is going to be a revolution in petrochemicals as many companies that require the by-products of the refinery for their own businesses will no longer need to source Foreign Exchange to import these things.
Egogonews predicts that the take-off of Dangote Refinery will signal to the world that Nigeria has come of age.
Mr President, we urge you to stand behind Dangote.
He is a national asset. I am glad that I am alive to witness this revolution in the Oil Industry. The seismic shift it will represent to Nigeria will be bigger than the Telecoms revolution that Obasanjo brought to the nation.
